Not exactly a bosun’s chair but a harness that we lined with galley towels (to ease the chafe) provided a thrill. A bowline knot at the loose end of a Spinnaker Halyard was the other part of the apparatus that took us aloft. A deck hand cranked a winch grinder, another guarded a mast mounted cam lock preventer. |
